Just books reflect the diversity of families, students, and the broader world in a range of ways. For years we have wanted a way to track diversity and representation in the books educators and parents are choosing, reading, and teaching. We wanted something you could do easily in just a couple of minutes per book, that visually allows you to assess where your strengths and gaps are at a glance, and that covers all of the dimensions of diversity children and young people deserve to read about. After being continually dissatisfied we decided to make one. And now, we’re sharing it with you!
